Welcome to StrongYogi: Start Your Holistic Training Journey

The story behind StrongYogi and the path toward strength, clarity, and inner mastery.

When Experience Turns Into Understanding

I feel I’ve reached a level of inner maturity that allows me to better understand the challenges people face in their personal and athletic development. More and more individuals are seeking training experiences that feel complete — not just physical, but connected to something deeper. And although trends show that many people do care about their fitness and appearance, I still believe there is much more to offer, and much more work to be done.

From this perspective, I want to offer real solutions that integrate the different aspects of human nature. One of the biggest mistakes we make is believing that others cannot “understand us,” when in reality, it often comes down to a lack of openness and listening. Everyone goes through challenges; I don’t think there is a single person we cannot at least understand if we approach them with enough empathy.

For me, the physical training we choose — especially as adults — becomes a mirror of our character and our dreams. How we want to feel, how we want to look, what we want to be capable of doing. I believe these questions truly make the difference, and each person has the responsibility to answer them from their own truth.

How My Fitness Journey Truly Began

When I began my “fitness journey,” I felt terrible about myself: my body had no structure, and I had no discipline. I carried a deep feeling of frustration and anger toward myself, which I disguised or avoided in different ways (mostly through video games and marijuana). My deepest desire was to stop feeling incapable of staying focused on something long-term — whether sports, art, or any other area of my life. When I finally started training, alone in the garden of my house, the hardest part was simply getting myself to begin — or as people say, “getting off the couch.”

However, once I started, it was as if I became a different person, and thousands of ideas would come to me. Back then, I thought the biggest human problem was motivation, but over the years I learned that this was only the tip of the iceberg. The real problem lay in how we identify with ourselves, with our personal story, and with our ability to say “no” to immediate pleasure or what seems easy, in favor of what will truly make us feel better and transform our lives — physically and spiritually. With time, this understanding grew stronger until it became part of my DNA: starting with physical training to become strong in every human dimension.

What I Want Readers to Find Here

First, I want my readers to find a space where they feel heard — a place where their concerns are answered with clarity and intention. I want them to discover information that truly supports their personal development, to learn more about their bodies and also their emotions, so they can create positive habits that transform their lives in every repetition, every movement, and every breath.

The Meaning of Conscious Training

I learned about “conscious training” thanks to yoga. The focus placed on posture is secondary to the attention given to breath, bodily sensations, and gaze. This level of self-examination is not present in everyday sports.

But once you step into a professional environment, you realize that high-performance athletes must be fully focused to give their best in every test or competition. Even Arnold talked about how the focus should be placed on every repetition — that training wasn’t simply mechanical and repetitive, but a moment to visualize each part of the movement and what happens internally with the muscle fibers.

On a personal level, I find it incredible how certain athletes can control their body with such precision, defying gravity and surprising anyone who watches them. Today, when I see someone capable of a great physical feat, I don’t only see the obvious — I also see the hours of work behind it. Training consciously also means placing the focus on the process. Goals serve as guides, but it is in the day-to-day where the real difference is made.

Why StrongYogi Exists

I want my readers to access scientifically updated strength-training information, not pseudo-science or “bro-science.” Time is gold, and a bad session is still better than none; however, I want that “bad session” to happen because you were too tired or couldn’t finish the routine — not because you lacked knowledge, technique, or a plan that ensures long-term results. In the same way, I want my readers to include mobility in their daily routine as a foundation for connecting with their body, avoiding injuries, improving performance, and — most importantly — enjoying a healthy body and mind for as long as possible, or as people say, “until the day they die.” Since we are “married” to our body until the end, it’s better to grow old feeling young than to reach old age feeling broken by time and illness.

From this perspective, StrongYogi’s vision is that we must cultivate the personal discipline necessary to achieve self-mastery: beginning with the body, then our relationship with our emotions and mind, and finally our spiritual dimension, which allows us to experience life with presence and fulfillment. This is why purpose becomes a fundamental axis. You can follow trends for a while and copy what others do — or simply live day to day as if you weren’t enough, as if something was missing, as if you owed something to life. I believe there is a deep disconnection from our purpose, and this disconnection creates suffering — not only in individuals, but in society as a whole. Through StrongYogi, I want to help people find themselves, discover or define their purpose, and build a life aligned with their vision through healthy habits and a deep and real connection with all their human dimensions.
